Vendors who wish to be considered to take part in the Moncton Buskers Festival produced by Downtown Moncton Centre-ville Inc., must submit this completed form. 

*Please note: Upon final approval, selected food vendors will be required to submit a copy of a valid public health permit issued by the Province of New Brunswick’s Health Protection Branch.  The permit must be valid for the date of the event (July 12, 2024).

VENDOR OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vending Fees: 

Non-food vendors: $150 (includes tent)  

Food vendors: $250 

Supply Vehicle Fees*: 

  • $150 for a 10-ft x 10-ft space for one supply vehicle 
  • $200 for a 10-ft x 20-ft space for one supply vehicle

Electrical Fees (only available and applicable to food vendors):

*Please note: 

  • Maximum space allotted for one vendor’s supply vehicle is 10-ft x 20-ft, if space allows. 
  • If a vendor has more than one installation or booth, fees will be charged for each installation. 
  • Generators are not permitted due to sound pollution. 
  • An invoice will be issued by Downtown Moncton Centre-ville Inc. prior to the event to collect fees from vendors.  Full payment of vendor fees is due no later than 2 weeks prior to the event.  Failure to do so will result in your reserved space being forfeited. 
  • Failure to pay vendor fees will automatically disqualify vendors from any future Downtown Moncton Centre-ville Inc. events.  Vendors with outstanding invoices from past Downtown Moncton Centre-ville Inc. events will not be considered until the outstanding invoices are paid in full. 

VENDOR SCHEDULE:

Vending hours:

Vendors are expected to sell their products from 11a.m. to 10 p.m. on July 12th and 13th and from 11a.m. to 5p.m. on July 14th, 2024. 

Set-up time:

Vendors will be assigned a time between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and must be set up by 10 a.m.  On a case-by-case basis, set-up may be permitted on July 11th, to be discussed with the event’s producer. 

Start time: 

Vendors must be ready to sell at 11a.m. 

Tear-down time: 

  • Vendors may begin tear-down at 5:00 p.m. on July 14th; however, load out may only be completed once the crowds have dispersed and the event producer identifies that it is safe to do so. 
  • No vehicles are permitted to circulate on the event site before the crowds have dispersed (around 6:30 p.m.). 
  • All vendors must be off-site no later than 8:00 p.m. to allow the the site to reopen and proceed with the clean-up of the event site. 

Set-up equipment: 

For non-food vendors, the use of a 10×10 tent space is included in the cost. 

Security: 

All vendors are responsible for securing their own space at all times. 

Public Health Permit:  

All food vendors, selected to take part in the Moncton Buskers Festival. Must submit a valid copy of their permit as issued by the Province of New Brunswick’s Health Protection branch no later than June 24, 2024, otherwise, they will not be permitted to set up during the span of the event. The permit must be valid throughout the days of the event (July 12th – 14th).

SUPPLY VEHICLES*:

We may allow vendors to park a separate supply vehicle near the vendor’s booth / Installation at an additional cost (See section on Vendor Obligations and Responsibilities for fees). Space for supply vehicles is limited and cannot be guaranteed. If approved, location of supply vehicles will be determined by Downtown Moncton Centre-ville Inc. Supply vehicles allowed on site- will either be parked behind or beside the vendor’s installation, depending on vendor location.
